FREDDY TYLER PAUL IS A LOS ANGELES-BASED RECORDING ARTIST, MUSIC PRODUCER, PHOTOGRAPHER, Visual Artist, AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR.

He also cooks a mean omelet.

Growing up in Chicago, IL, Freddy got his creative start pursuing filmmaking in high school.  His passions quickly shifted into the world of songwriting after starting and leading a badass local band in the Chicago area, by the name of Ember Oceans. While attending college, Freddy honed his skills as a photographer, filmmaker, and music producer developing other artists in the Chicago area, before earning degrees in music-theory, vocal performance, and audio engineering. However, in early 2020 and within the midst of the pandemic, his band parted ways and Freddy found himself drawn westward, following the sounds of his favorite records reverberating among the Southern Californian hills.

Now an LA boy, Freddy writes and self-produces all of his solo work out of his breezy home-studio. A hazy, Indie-pop, coated with moody & dynamic vocals shine throughout his productions and compositions. His vocals are reminiscent of falling in love during a Tuesday happy-hour. Or possibly a black coffee on a mid-summer’s day. Or maybe a backhanded sucker-punch. Regardless, you’re bound to leave with a mild case of sonic whiplash.

Today, Freddy divides his time between being a full-time photographer, graphic designer, singer-songwriter, & music producer based in Los Angeles, CA. His now infamous streetwear line of graphic tees have taken Southern California by storm with his quirky designs and hilarious raunch. His self-produced podcast, ‘Sex. Drugs, & Bad Advice’ can be found wherever you find your podcasts and feature a various list of eclectic guests from all over the country and beyond…
